For this reason, the Undersecretariat for the Defence Industries
assessed that; in order to create a sustainable and competitive
technologic base in the defence industry, by the direction of the
public and private sector’s participation, because of some reasons
such as the magnitude of the investment amount -due to the
strategic importance of some technology areas- the requirement of
continuous source allocation, as well as confidentiality, a financial
investment is hereby necessary for the critical technology areas
which would provide the implementation of ideas which either
exist or new and which would provide support both financially and
administratively. Primarily for this requirement, a new company has
been incorporated which would support the activities within the
fields of “Autonomous Systems, Robotic, Material Technologies,
Nano-technology, Data Processing Technologies, Cyber, Bio-
technology, Genetic, Arms Technologies” and of which the entire
capital - 100%- would be possessed by the Undersecretariat for
Defence Industries.
