Established on November 13, 1985, the Presidency of Defense Industries
(SSB) has undertaken significant work in providing the Turkish Armed Forces
with modern equipment and developing the Turkish defense industry over
the past 40 years. The SSB has made significant strides, particularly in
recent years, raising the bar with concrete projects in critical areas.

13 Kasım 1985 tarihinde kurulan Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı (SSB),
kuruluşundan bu yana geçen 40 yıl boyunca Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerine
modern teçhizat kazandırılması ve Türk savunma sanayisinin geliştirilmesi
konusunda önemli faaliyetlerde bulundu. Özellikle son dönemde büyük
mesafe kat eden SSB, kritik öneme sahip alanlardaki somut projeleriyle
çıtayı yükseltti.
