AIRCRAFT DEVELOPMENT AND SERIAL PRODUCTION PROJECT / SİLAHLI HÜRKUŞ UÇAĞI GELİŞTİRME VE SERİ ÜRETİM PROJESİ

The HÜRKUŞ-C Project was initiated by TUSAŞ (TAI) within the framework of the HÜRKUŞ Project to develop
basic and primary training aircrafts by domestic means and produce a light armed reconnaissance and
attack aircraft required by the Land Forces Command.
With this project, our country will have the first armed reconnaissance aircraft built by domestic and national
means. During the first stage, production of 12 aircrafts is planned and, due to the need, the production of
12 additional aircraft is projected.
The objective of our HÜRKUŞ-C aircraft, equipped with an armored structure, self-protection systems,
night vision compatible digital/glass cockpit and advanced avionics systems, is to undertake light attack and
armed reconnaissance missions as well as carrying out pilot training requirements at a low cost and with
high precision.
Our aircraft will also have digital secure communications, image & data connections and a thermal imaging/
sighting system and, in addition to national munitions such as the CIRIT Laser Guided Missile and the long-
range UMTAS Guided Missile, will also be able to carry general purpose bombs and 12.7-mm and 20-mm gun
systems.

HÜRKUŞ-C Projesi, HÜRKUŞ Projesi kapsamında TUSAŞ (TAI) tarafından yurtiçi imkânlar kullanılarak
üretilen başlangıç ve temel eğitim uçağımızın geliştirilerek Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığının ve Jandarma
Genel Komutanlığının ihtiyaç duyduğu hafif silahlı keşif ve saldırı uçağının üretilmesi amacıyla başlatılmıştır.
Bu proje ile ülkemiz ilk kez yerli ve milli imkânlarla üretilen bir silahlı keşif ve taarruz uçağına sahip
olacaktır. İlk etapta 18 uçaklık üretim planlanmakta olup ihtiyaç neticesinde 18 adet ilave uçağın da üretimi
projelendirilmiştir.
Zırhlandırılmış yapı, kendini koruma sistemleri, gece görüş uyumlu sayısal kokpit ve gelişmiş aviyonik
sistemler ile donatılacak olan HÜRKUŞ-C uçağımız pilot eğitim ihtiyacının yanı sıra, hafif taarruz ve silahlı
keşif görevlerinin düşük maliyet ve yüksek hassasiyet ile gerçekleştirilmesini amaçlamaktadır.
Dijital güvenli haberleşme, görüntü & veri bağlantısı ve termal görüntüleme/ nişangâh sistemi imkânlarına da
sahip olacak uçağımız CİRİT Lazer Güdümlü Füze, LUMTAS/UMTAS Güdümlü Roket gibi milli mühimmatların
yanı sıra genel maksat bombaları ile 12,7 mm ve 20 mm top sistemlerini de taşıyabilecek kapasitede olacaktır.
