HGK (High Precision Guidance Kit) is the Türkiye’s first smart bomb which was designed and developed
by TÜBİTAK SAGE. HGK is an air to surface guidance kit family that turns existing general purpose bombs
into smart weapons. Thus, existing bombs gain precision strike talent in all weather conditions with 25
km range. HGK has got several variants. By using these variants, Mk-82, Mk-83, Mk-84 general purpose
bombs converted into precision strike weapons. HGK has been certified to F-4 E/2020 and F-16 platforms
by TÜBİTAK SAGE. TÜBİTAK SAGE is the design authority of HGK and mass production of HGK is within the
responsibility of ASELSAN. Some of the variants of HGK is in Turkish Armed Forces inventory.

KGK (Wing Assisted Guidance Kit) is the Türkiye’s first smart
long range bomb which was designed and developed by
TÜBİTAK SAGE. KGK is a wing-assisted guidance kit that
converts existing unguided 1000 lb MK-83 and 500 lb MK-
82 general purpose bombs into long-range, air-to-ground
smart weapons. With KGK, the bombs have the capability
of precision hitting of the target from 110 km range, in
all weather conditions, providing aircraft to complete the
mission safely without entering into enemy air defenses.
KGK has been certified to F-4 E/2020 and F-16 platforms
by TÜBİTAK SAGE.

NEB (Penetrator Bomb) is the Türkiye’s first concrete penetrator
system which was designed and developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE. NEB
is designed to be used against surface and underground targets.
NEB contains Multiple Warhead Systems (MWS) technology. NEB
has similar external geometry, guidance unit interfaces, mass,
center of mass and inertia properties with MK-84 GPB. Thus it can
be used by HGK and converted into smart weapon. NEB is now
in mass production phase and has been certified to F-4 E/2020
and F-16 platforms by TÜBİTAK SAGE. The production facility of
NEB established with the consultancy support of TÜBİTAK SAGE
for MKEK and now NEB’s mass production conducted by MKEK.

BOZOK is a semi active laser and tactical inertial guided miniature bomb
which can be used by UAVs and designed by TÜBİTAK SAGE. BOZOK has a
range of 10 km and its CEP value is 3 meters.

TÜBİTAK SAGE acquired substantial know-how and experience while
developing system and subsystem projects. By this know-how and
experience, TÜBİTAK SAGE established and developed critical technologies
and related test facilities. Some of these test facilities are;

• Wind Tunnel Testing,
• External Store Flutter Testing,
• Flash X-Ray Imaging

As a result, within all these acquisitions, TÜBİTAK SAGE is ready for any kind of cooperation with national/
international R&D institutions and/or companies.
