MİLDAR

MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FOR AIR PLATFORMS

Within this project, RADAR prototypes operating
in millimeter wave band and OKİS (The Automatic
Take Off and Landing System) will be developed
with national opportunities. The RADAR prototypes
can be used in helicopter and Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAV) platforms with multi-function, low
volume and weight, in order to increase the combat
effectiveness of air platforms. The project consists
of 3 phases, 1st Helicopter Millimeter Wave Radar
(MILDAR), 2nd Phase Automatic Take-off and
Landing System (OKIS) and 3rd Phase IHA MILDAR
will be developed. The contract has been signed in
2013 and the Helicopter MILDAR Acceptance tests
have been completed, OKIS test and acceptance
phase, IHA MİLDAR is in the design phase.

DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES

Within the scope of the project, signature
detection studies are carried out
using multispectral and hyperspectral
imaging methods. Imaging and algorithm
development activities are performed for
airborne detection of a number of military
targets. Phase-1 outputs are given for
the use of the General Commandership
of Gendarmerie and Phase-2 studies
continue with Air Force Command,
Naval Command, Command of the Land
Forces and General Commandership of
Gendarmerie.
