Information and communication technologies are
developing at a dizzying pace. Directed through the
vision of Binali Yildirim, Minister of Transport, Maritime
Affairs and Communications, communication sector
has gained speed and it seems to break records.

Turkey is one of the countries that has continued
to grow and develop despite the global crisis.

10 billion dollars in 2002, the market size
of the information and communication
sector has expanded to 44 billion
dollars. Among the most striking access
investments recently are e-government
services, the use of information
technologies in education and especially
the broadband investments.

According to BTK’s (Information and
Communication Technologies Authority)
first quarter data of 2013, the number of
business managers in communication
sector is 712. 22,3 billion dollars in 2011,
net revenues of fixed and mobile networks
have increased by %5 compared to 2010.
