Since the day Ankara-Konya line opened for service,
        a total of 2 million and 600 thousand passengers were
        carried from one city to another. While the travel time on
        high-speed rail line is 1 hour and 30 minutes for Ankara-
        Konya now, it will drop down to 1 hour and 15 minutes
        with the acquisition of train sets that can go as high as
        300 km/h.



           ANKARA-SİVAS HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT

           The Ankara-Sivas route comprises a longitudinal
        part of the country’s railroad network that extends from
        the western border to the eastern; it is also located
        on the railroad connections of Europe-Iran, Europe-
        Middle East, and Caucasian countries.  The current
        Ankara-Sivas railroad is a 603-km track with 12.5 hours
        of travel time. Construction is ongoing for the double-
        tracked, electrified, signaled new High Speed Rail Line
        compatible for 250 km/h and entirely financed by own
        resources.  Travel time will be only 2 hours once the
        project is complete. Yozgat, a city currently without any
        railroad line, will also have a high-standard railway.

           ANKARA-BURSA HIGH SPEED
           RAILWAY PROJECT


           Construction began in January 2012 for the 110-km,
        double tracked, electrified, and signaled line which is
        compatible for 250 km/h. Upon completion, the highly-
        developed industrial city of Bursa will be connected with
        İstanbul, Eskişehir, and Ankara.  Travel time on Bursa-
        Ankara will be 2 hours and 15 minutes, Bursa-Eskişehir
        will be an hour, and Bursa-İstanbul will be 2 hours and
        15 minutes.

           ANKARA-İZMİR HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT
