PEOPLE’S LINE

With one of the most significant progresses made in the

transportation sector, in the field of aviation, as a result of the
investments made with the principle of “airline, the people’s
line”, both the sector expanded and over 131 million passengers

were transported with domestic and international flights.

While the airports were being shut down with the Council
of Ministers decree due to insufficient demand before 2003,
within the last 10 years, both shot-down airports were

reopened and new airports were brought to the sector
through Regional Airline Transportation applications.
